A few words about the role
We’re seeking an quality assurance analyst to to join our team. As a QA Analyst, you would participate in all stages of the software development life cycle to design and execute tests, identify and track defects and complete all necessary tasks that result in the release of high-quality software to Tekmon clients. You would also be responsible for understanding the functional requirements of the software, writing test design specifications, manually testing software using multiple test methodologies, participating in the automation of tests, and continuously looking for ways to improve the QA process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Test Plans / detailed Test Cases and execute manual test cases to verify that our systems meet customer expectations.
- Conduct thorough and accurate testing of client/server mobile, and web-based applications.
- Record defects and re-test when resolved.
- Produce and maintain training materials (manuals and presentations).
- Track issues reported by customers, resolve and re-test.
- Assist in the identification of new procedures, methods, and/or tools to improve the efficiency of the QA process.
- Assist in the design and requirements for new products.
- Provide analysis and consulting support for development and support employees.
Skills:
- Highly organized individual.
- Ability to understand complex concepts and explain them in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders (Developers, Customers etc.).
- Ability to be effective in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with test case management software.
- Understanding of operations in manufacturing, construction, or transportation sectors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills involving sound decision-making and effective resolutions.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
