A few words about the role
We’re seeking a talented frontend software engineer who has passion for technology to join our team. In this role, you’ll primarily work in Javascript using the best programming practices and state-of-the art technologies and tools. As a frontend developer, you will be responsible for supporting current and future projects, bringing new features for our customers, consuming API endpoints, refactoring existing code, and seeing changes through to completion in a live environment. We have a startup mentality and love getting things done quickly. If you love being productive, proactive and pushing code to production frequently, you will feel right at home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create services and system architecture for our projects, contribute and provide feedback to other team members.
- Work with the product and design teams to understand business requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
- Deliver programming tasks on a timely manner
Requirements:
- Good communication skills and team spirit.
- In depth knowledge oh HTML5, CSS/SCSS and Javascript.
- Knowledge of building and using JSON.
- Experience in UI/UX and ability to develop responsive software.
- Knowledge of Bootstrap and jQuery.
- Experience in consuming REST APIs to load data and perform actions.
- Ability to prioritize, coordinate and complete tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to translate business requirements to technical specifications.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in team environments.
Nice to have:
- Masters degree in computer science.
- Experience in working with Agile teams (kanban, scrum).
- Knowledge of Unit and Integration Testing (Units JS).
- Experience working with Version Control (git).
- Open-source contribution.
- Knowledge of a framework like React / Angular / Vue.
